I just had this on my 2016 Ford focus. All I did was change the purge valve. Took honestly about 15 minutes and part was only $30 from Amazon. I think you'd be good to drive, but I didn't. I don't trust my car with any check engine light on. Plus it has to do with the fuel line, valve basically isn't closing it.
