Edit: for anyone else looking to fix this issue here it is. After I posted this I remembered the 800# for Freightliner. Called them and was told that this is a known issue and it is the multi switch. It apparently isn't grounded correctly and causes this issue. On EPA07 vehicles, the MFJB distributes battery power to the alternator, SAM cab, SAM chassis, and powertrain PDM.
