The new model is called the Staccato 4.15 P and it comes with a 4.15" dlc coated barrel, x-cut slide serrations, a steel frame, and full size grip. That's what I gather too. My 3 options from what I've been able to find... 1. Leave as-is and just shoot the sht out of my pistol and new EPS. 2. C&H plate and they offer a 0.230 front sight for my C2. 3. New Dawson Precision Plate for the EPS which will allow the EPS to mount w/out the extra RMR plate.Staccato XL vs XC. Another slight difference between the two models is that the XL's grip length is slightly longer than the XC. I think it's something to the tune of about half an inch. Staccato XL and XC side-by-side. But after switching to the XL from the XC, I did find it slightly noticeable.

It comes down to what you want to do, The XC is a nice range toy, you cant really compete with it in a comp though, it put you in the open class and you are up against true open guns. You can do it, you are just gonna be out gunned. The P allows you to do much more if you are into the competition side of things.

For me I got a DLC barrel and love it. The less wear isn’t the only benefit. It’s smoother all around which makes a difference with these tight tolerances. If you had to guesstimate a % how much would you say. I couldn’t give you an exact percentage but at $100, I think it’s worth it. C2 for CC. P if your using it for range. I’ve shot both. The P shoots a little flatter bc of the weight but the C2 conceals easier (not by much). I went with the C2 because of the weight. Can’t go wrong with either but the weight of the P may be tiring to carry all day for some. 6. The updated slide serrations are a nice addition, even compared to today's P with the X-serrations added. Like the 2019 P, both the front and rear serrations are a little longer on the Heritage model, so slide manipulations are even easier. The C2 uses standard Staccato mags so even if they are "too long" you could still use your Staccato P mags in the C2 when training or at the range.
