Also has LED lights and a brand new rear tire, $5,500.00. Trim 1300S.The back cyclinder was 180 PSI the front 150 psi. The noise seems to be coming from the rear. The manual says spec compression is 171psi @ 300prm. We checked my 04 1300R and got 165 psi in both cyclinders. Dave's bike has about 6000 more miles than mine, for a total of about 12,000miles on his bike.

My personal opinion is to use full synthetic Amsoil 10W-40 motorcycle oil. for coolant, I generally used a generic/house brand from Meijers that is silicate free or another low cost brand. well, my big truck, before I stopped driving her and turned her over to another driver, had 1.2 million miles on her, and she was just getting broke in good. So, with proper maintenance, and the necessary repairs and replacements from time to time, I expect my VTX to go at least that far before I replace her.

I used the bottle the oil came in and slowly added the oil a pump or two at a time after I knew I had over 3 oz in the final.
