Dec 19, 2023 · P365 Sig RSA with Dual Round Wire Recoil Springs The stock Sig P365 RSA is supposed to have recoil springs rated at 17 lbs of combined force with the slide fully retracted. I measured the force required to fully retract the slide using a calibrated spring force gauge rated at 2% accuracy. The measurement was within 5% of 17 lbs. My 365 has many rounds through it without a single malfunction and is stock. Recoil is subjective, but if 9mm is bothering you enough to want to reduce it, you may want to look at a smaller caliber. My P365 works 100% stock, I will keep it stock. IMHO the recoil is already mild, compared to other 9mm pistols.
