Staccato P Heritage W/ Leupold DPP 2.5 MOA I would rate this 10/10. Been to the range once and lets just say round count is single digit (I can count with one finger). No scratches dents or dings. Everything you see in the pictures is either lint, oil or finger prints.

If you take apart Staccato and Springfield mags you'll find the latter is sprung quite a bit more. Imo the Staccato mags are under-sprung, especially in the 20 rounders. Staccato Disassembly Question. Considering a Staccato P. I have lots of 1911s and have fully disassembled to do things such as alter trigger pull weight etc. Never had an issue with assembly. So I have heard you cannot take apart the Staccato lower end such as hammer. disconnector, sear spring etc or you void your warranty.

I got a P DUO 3 weeks ago with the new base pads Buck is talking about. I can attest, they prevent you from over-insertion of the 21rnd mags. I had to get rid of them, unfortunately because they are not compatible with the Gen2 grip Dawson magwells or the 2019 slim tactical magwells that came standard.I have two of the kickback 126mm Atlas mags and they seem to be reliable so far. the mag springs feel significantly stronger than staccato's. Their baseplates don't work too great with the 2021 Staccato P magwell.
