I have a 2016, 200# metal drum Moultrie and it works fine. It is quieter than a spinner feeder I had some years ago. No idea how the expandable one works tho. I'd guess that the spinner is the same unit. 5 gallons of corn is roughly a 40# bag. If you throw 2 pound per day you get 20 days. That should work okay.
