The problem that I see is that the new Remington 783 bolt action is a direct competitor the the Marlin XS7/XL7. Bean counters don't like to have two Company products competing for the same customer. There are many similarities between the two rifles. Same basic barrel attachment, the Savage system.Hold the rear portion of the bolt pull the trigger and then let is slid forward, just pull the trigger or leave it compressed. You have to pull the trigger HARD to pull out the bolt. They really have those bolts in there with a very resistant spring that the Trigger compresses.Just picked up a Marlin Model 25MN a few days ago. It was used and in out of the box condition. I don't think the bolts would be interchangeable between the two, but I'm not sure. You can always look online at Numrich for a 782 bolt.
