it's because you used the save file that already had the maximum hearts/stamina. there is probably a separate value in the files that disables upgrading completely once you reached the maximum. just make a fresh save file and edit that instead. or just use the editor to manually give you the upgrade. The Bluetooth dongle is usb, so maybe it would play into the issue. Unfortunately that didn't help. But I'm really hung up on the fact that other cemu games are working fine and cemu input settings sees the controller. It's just botw now.
