Go back & re-check the firing order. It's very easy to cross the wires on a front mount. Firing order is 1-2-4-3, CCW. Even if you have to check each plug wire from the cap to the plug w/ a test light, do it. And, BTW, check for fuel flow by removing the bolt in the bottom of the carb bowl, not the fuel line.
